I have a dietary/access requirement, are you able to accommodate this?

During your registration, you will be asked for details of any dietary or access requirements you have. The organisers will do their best to accommodate your needs and ensure the conference is as accessible and inclusive as possible. While we will make every reasonable effort to meet your requirements, we cannot guarantee that all requests can be accommodated, particularly where requests are made at short notice. Please provide as much information as possible when registering so that we can make the appropriate arrangements in advance.

What does my registration include?

Your registration includes access to all of the Congress sessions and the Exhibition. Refreshments including lunch are also included in your registration.

Do I need to pay to attend?

Yes, all attendees are required to pay to attend, including those that have had a submission accepted for presentation.

I need a visa to attend, can you supply a visa invitation letter?

Yes, please get in touch with us before completing your registration.

What should I do if my visa is denied?

Please get in touch with us at your earliest convenience to discuss this.

Does the registration fee include insurance?

Registration fees do not include travel or personal insurance. All delegates are therefore advised to arrange appropriate travel insurance before attending the Congress.

We recommend that your policy provides comprehensive cover, including cancellation or non-attendance, loss of registration fees or deposits, travel and accommodation costs, medical and emergency expenses, loss or damage to personal belongings, and repatriation costs.

Insurance should also provide cover in the event that the Congress is cancelled by the organisers or if you are unable to attend for any reason.

The Congress organisers cannot accept responsibility for any costs, losses, or expenses incurred by delegates who choose not to obtain adequate insurance cover.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Completion of the booking form is a binding financial contract of payment of the delegate fee. If you can no longer attend, or your circumstances change, cancellations must be received in writing by Sunday 29 August 2027 to receive a refund; however an administration fee of £50+VAT will be charged. After this date cancellations cannot be accepted or payment refunded. We are happy to receive substitute delegates, please contact us in writing to provide details. If you fail to attend the event, without written notice as detailed above, you will still be liable for payment. Full booking terms and conditions can be viewed here.

During the Congress

Is there any parking available?

Yes, there is a multi-storey car park, charges apply. Please visit the venue page for more information.

What is the dress code?

During the day, the dress code is smart-casual.

Will there be on-site support?

Yes, please see the event team on the Registration/Help desk which will be staffed throughout the duration of the Congress.

Is there anywhere to buy drinks and snacks?

There is a Morrisons Daily (convenience store) located within the SEC.

Do I need to wear my lanyard?

Yes. You will be provided with a name badge and lanyard during registration, please wear this for the duration of the Conference. If you misplace or damage your badge during the conference, please see the event team for a replacement.

Will Wi-Fi be available?

Yes, please see signage around the registration desk for access details.

If I arrive late, can I still attend?

Yes, the registration desk will be staffed for the duration of the Congress. Please collect your badge on arrival and the team will direct you to the relevant session.

International Attendees

What is the currency used?

£ / GBP are used in the UK. Contactless/card payments are widely accepted and generally preferred within the UK but you may still want to bring a small amount of cash. Please ensure you have authorised payment cards to be used in the UK, via your bank before you travel.

What plug is used in the UK?

Type G - 3 pin plug.

What is the time zone?

At the time of the Congress, the UK will still be in BST (GMT+1).

What will the weather be like?

The weather in the Autumn can be unpredictable. Please check a long range forecast before travelling and pack for a range of conditions, including cooler temperatures, rain and occasional sunshine. A light waterproof jacket and layers are recommended.
